LEFT AND RIGHT OF THE ORANGE CANAL

Cycling along a canal can be a monotonous activity. Always going straight ahead and looking at infinity. In other words, making miles. Another option is to take the canal as your guide and see left and right how you can combine the useful with the pleasant while cycling.

ON THE TRAIL OF NAPOLEON BONAPARTE

Just cross the border and immediately feel in another world? This is possible when you plan to cycle the more than 100 kilometers long “Fietsallee langs de Noordervaart” which runs partly through the Netherlands and partly through Germany. However you look at it, many things are just a little different in both countries. Whether that is for better or for worse, is something everyone can decide for themselves after they get home.

In advance we are briefed on the cycling possibilities in the region by people from Devon County Council. Of course they think their region is an optimal cycling area.
