SECURITY OF BICYCLES AT YOUR HOME

Our bicycle is our sacred good, but properly securing it we sometimes forget. Bikes are usually stored in the garage or in the garden shed and that is exactly the place where thieves prefer to come and have a look. To better secure your bicycle in these places, there are a number of solutions that we will discuss below under the theme MoSi@home, in other words, security at home

Alarm Box:

The alarm box is a metal box that responds to movement in all directions by means of a 3D sensor, 100 dB loud alarm.

The electronic device unleashes an intelligent, shock- and motion-sensitive alarm for your object – be it the bike, barbecue or tools. In addition, further ABUS adapter chains or cables can be integrated into the Alarmbox housing as accessories, thus securing further objects. The Alarmbox 2.0 can be easily attached to round tubes, for example to the bicycle frame, and secured with a key. With slight shocks or movements, a short 5-second warning sounds. In case of a sustained theft attempt, the 100 dB loud alarm goes off.

There is also a light version of this alarm box, Alarmbox RC, which can be operated by remote control instead of a key and is even easier to put away due to its compact shape and weight (can be attached directly, metal strips and Velcro tape).

When a thief is on the rampage, he wants to attract as little attention as possible. But that’s exactly where the portable alarm system throws a spanner in the works.

Wall and/or ground anchor:

Here at Abus there are different models depending on what use they are for. These are anchored using special plugs that you can later seal with two ball bearings so that they cannot be removed without breaking out your wall or ground. In 2022 a new model will be launched where you can plug in your plug-in chain. All the anchors are also ART approved, which is required by most insurance and leasing companies.

Keygarage:

The keygarage is a metal box where you can safely insert your keys, bank cards, etc. by means of a number combination -> because of this you do not have to take them with you on the road. Can be attached to the wall, but also by means of a hook to fix it to the tow bar, bike carrier or even car window.
