VORARLBERG AND THE BIKE PARADISE OF THE BREGENZERWALD

Between the forest and the villages, the Vorarlberg region is bursting with cycling fun with 460 kilometers of cycling through pure nature in a relatively small area! So take a deep breath, enjoy and get on your mountain bike!

360° view from the Diedamskopf

The region’s signature trail is a truly exclusive nature experience in the heart of the Allgäu Alps, as it can only be ridden under the guidance of a Bregenzerwald Cycling School guide. The 360° view from the 2,090-meter peak over the mountains of Vorarlberg is impressive and awe-inspiring. From the trail that, the descent to the valley is full of variety. Up and down in long curves with a great flow and along ever-changing views of the Vorarlberg mountain landscape. The flowing nature trail runs through the wild forest, across meadows and cotton grass – it’s all about enjoying the moment, just experiencing it and taking the occasional break.

The path is the forest

But there is much more to the Bregenzerwald than the legendary Diedamskopf. At the 4-country corner, the route quickly crosses the border: we cycle around Lake Constance to Germany, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. Impressive views of the neighboring countries included. The selection of tours leaves nothing to be desired: There is the beautiful Schoppernau/Diedamskopf – Neuhornbachhaus tour, as well as the popular Schreibersattel tour or the Bregenzerwald classic Mellau/Kanisfluh. The MTB trail center Au-Schoppernau also offers variety with family-friendly uphill routes up to the black jump line.
