REMODELED SVEN NYS CYCLING CENTER

The center, located in Tremelo (Flemish Brabant), has reopened after a thorough renovation. It remains a hotspot for both road and off-road cyclists. You can enjoy riding laps on the popular GP Sven Nys cyclocross course, but also start out on the Sven Nys Cycling Route. That route has been updated, by the way.

Sven Nys redesigned his route, extending it to 107 kilometers. In the rolling Hageland with its beautiful vistas, you will cycle through nature, between fruit orchards, over short and steep hills that follow each other in rapid succession and where something new awaits around every bend. This region never gets monotonous. After your trip, you can visit the temporary exhibition “The youth of today! Young cycling violence…then & now”, which highlights young cycling talent, including Thibau Nys. The exhibition was developed in collaboration with KOERS, the cycling museum in Roeselare.

Visitors can also enjoy healthy dishes and a beautiful view of the course at the renovated Velo Food & Drinks café. It is definitely worth a visit. More information can be found at www.svennyscyclingcenter.be.
