BLINKERS, HEADLIGHT AND REAR LIGHT IN YOUR HYP-E HELMET

The HYP-E from ABUS is a new, highly innovative helmet thanks to its distinctive lighting concept consisting of rear light, headlight and indicators. Inspired by the automotive industry, the lighting ensures all-round visibility and highlights the presence of cyclists on busy roads or in poor visibility conditions.

The front and rear lights are integrated into the HYP-E’s multi-shell design and emphasise its premium look. With a remote control on the handlebars, you can activate the indicator, operate it intuitively and signal a change of direction clearly and in good time.

Comfort in all weather conditions

Ventilation in the upper head section is regulated by a smart ventilation system: when the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet’s generous ventilation openings with the VentCover. This solution is inspired by winter sports.

More protection on the e-bike

The HYP-E also complies with the strict NTA standard 8776 – the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for S-pedelec riders. Helmets with the NTA standard are tested at significantly higher crash speeds, offer better protection at the back of the head and temples, and can absorb higher forces. It is also the first bicycle helmet to have four different quality marks: CE, NTA 8776, CPSC and even TUV.

This helmet is available in 3 sizes (S-M-L) and in 3 versions:

– Base: helmet (with front and rear lights) + remote control indicators

– Ace: same as Base, but with a transparent visor and ear pieces included

– BL.Ace: same as Ace, but with a remote control for the brake light.
