Innovation comes first

Beneath the clear, dynamic silhouette of the HUD-Y are numerous useful ABUS innovations: the ActiCage, a structural reinforcement integrated into the EPS, optimizes stability. A finely adjustable adjustment system with a grip wheel, the new Trivider – an innovative belt distributor – ensures an individually optimal fit. The mounting and ventilation concept is based on that of the high-end racing helmet GameChanger. Already when putting on the HUD-Y, the magnetic Fidlock buckle increases the comfort of the helmet. On the road, the FlipFlop visor protects against blinding sun and adds a sporty touch. And in the dark, you can rely on another innovation from ABUS, the LED taillight.

 

 

 

 

 

Magnetic, rechargeable and bright are the terms that describe the new LED taillight from ABUS. The large LED taillight with 180° visibility is perfectly integrated into the HUD-Y ACE. The light is easy to mount via a magnetic attachment, is very securely connected to the helmet – and can be removed again very easily. Via the integrated micro-USB port, it is fully charged in two hours. The LED light can shine in four modes and different brightness levels: Power Mode: up to 2 hours with 7-9 lumens, Eco Mode: up to 5 hours with 3-4 lumens, Pulse Mode: up to 8 hours pulsing with 3- 4 lumens and the Blink Mode: up to 13 hours blinking with 2-3 lumens.

The HUD-Y demonstrates a confident sense of style on your bike and uniquely combines a great “cool look” with high-quality protection.

The HUD-Y ACE is available in seven color designs and two sizes M (54 – 58 cm) and L (57 – 61 cm).
